SEHTA is a partner alongside the Lead Partner Kent County Council and the other 2 partners, Eurasanté & Biotech Santé Bretagne and we're delighted to announce that we are part of a new 2-year EU INTERREG project IMPULS - Innovation in Manufacturers of Products Used in Life Sciences aims to help small life science and nutrition businesses from South East England and Northern France to collaborate, innovate and access business opportunities on the other side of the Channel. 

The project will deliver a series of virtual webinars, organise international business matchmaking events and facilitate virtual access to life science industry events.

The total amount of EU Financial Funding received is: €499,454 of which €399,563.24 has been co-financed by the European Regional Development Funds.


SEHTA est partenaire aux côtés du Chef de file de Kent County Council et des 2 autres partenaires, Eurasanté & Biotech Santé Bretagne et que nous font partie d'un nouveau projet EU INTERREG - IMPULS - Innovation in Manufacturers of Products Used in Life Sciences située dans la Sud-Est de l’Angleterre et le Nord de la France, pour leur permettre de collaborer, d’innover et d’accéder à des opportunités de développement commercial de l’autre côté de la Manche.

Le projet organisera une série de webinaires, ainsi que des événements de matchmaking transfrontaliers et accompagnera les PME dans leur participation à des salons internationaux virtuels dédiés aux sciences de la vie.

Le montant total du financement financier de l'UE reçu est de: 499.454  € dont 399.563.24 € cofinancés par le Fonds européen de développement régional.

What is IMPULS?

Innovation in Manufacturers of Products Used in Life Sciences (IMPULS) is a project funded by the Interreg France-Channel-England (FCE) Programme which can help small businesses from South East England and Northern France to get into international markets.

Aims & Objectives of the project

IMPULS Project aims were to help life science and nutrition companies to collaborate, innovate and access business opportunities on the other side of the Channel.

IMPULS PROJECT EVALUATION

SMEs highlighted that the main benefits in taking part in IMPULS events were:

  • Establishing international connection with relevant service providers/ collaborators/ contacts/ experts
  • Gaining new leads
  • Exposure to international network and markets
  • Network with old and new collaborators
  • Gaining new knowledge
  • International exposure and social media exposure
  • Development of new projects
FACILITATION OF CONTACT THROUGH PARTNERING ORGANISATIONS 

After the end of project, partners will continue to stay in contact and explore possibilities of finding additional funding or developing projects that would allow organisation of activities that require funding and that would help companies with the internationalisation. 

Furthermore, partners will continue to have an exchange regarding relevant events that each partner would organise in the future, where participation of companies from other regions would be eligible. Companies participated in IMPULS project will be encouraged to reach out to other partnering organisations (either directly or through other partners) if they wish to establishing connections and develop partnerships with companies from that region.
