BioTuesday - How to Make the Most of BioPartnering: Will you strike your next big deal at BioTrinity?
End : 18 Mar 2008 - 20:30
This month's BioTuesday gives us the opportunity to welcome Andrew Wood of Eli Lilly and Lisa Methley of EBD group to our March meeting, and gives you insider information on how to make the most out of biopartnering from speakers with long-term experience of the processes involved.
Andrew has taken part in over 500 one-to-one meetings and will be offering tips on targetting companies you want to meet, how to phrase your invitations, pre-meeting research, developing your pitch content and timing, partnering etiquette, and working out what you are looking for in a partnership. Andrew will talk more from the "partnering for licensing purposes" perspective.
Lisa Methley will be using her extensive experience of managing partnering meetings to draw out what is best practice, effective strategies for successful preparation and how to make best use of EBD's online interactive partnering system.
Partnering meetings are not just a chance to speak to someone from another company, they are a unique business development opportunity, which if exploited well can form a worthwhile part of your business development strategy. Partnering is not just an activity, it is a skill - are you prepared for the biopartnering round this year?
