Assistive technology- supporting independent living

London boroughs are making innovations in telehealth and telecare to increase choice and control for people using community services, people on individual budgets, direct payments and for self-funders.

London Councils is holding another seminar to discuss:

• progress across London
• boroughs and NHS working together
• engaging users
• working with self-funders

The event will focus on a range of innovations and technologies supporting people to live independently. We plan to have an interactive session and there will be opportunities for discussion.

Speakers will present new programmes and initiatives and the afternoon will build on knowledge and potential for local actions.

The session is for senior social care professionals, NHS care staff and the independent sector.
