This is a one day event for all medical marketers (pharmaceutical and medical devices and equipment) on the topic of launch excellence.
The day will open with a presentation of a pan sector review of the latest research, first mover advantage and diffusion of innovation. There will also be presentations from:
IMS Health, a provider of market intelligence, strategic insight and a source of trends and perspectives about the pharmaceutical marketplace. Their report into launch excellence in the pharmaceutical industry will be presented and discussed.
The NHS Technology Adoption Centre, based in Manchester, aims to assist organisations to navigate the complexities of the 'NHS adoption landscape'; work with NHS Trusts to support the sustainable implementation of new technology; and to produce detailed NHS focused guides detailing how the technology can be successfully implemented and the benefits to both patients and organisations that can be achieved.
This will be followed with a presentation on the procurement landscape within the NHS. Understanding procurement is the first step to developing any sales or marketing plan. Case studies from the medical devices sector will illustrate excellence in product launches, complemented by a story from FMCG for cross sector comparison.
