Managing and Growing International Business
End : 31 Mar 2008 - 16:30
This one day workshop will provide you with a clear understanding of the reasons that companies are prevented from growing internationally and of what you need to do to ensure that your company's structure and the skills of key employees are congruent with long term strategy and goals and aligned to target markets.
For company owners/managers and decision-makers, this course will help you to analyse the relationship between your company's goals, strategy, structure, competencies and markets. It is aimed at the sort of company that has started on an export strategy but has either not made the forecast growth or has grown to a certain point and then appeared to stall. It is will also help any company that wants to accelerate its international growth. Your company will be large enough (possibly 25 +) to have separate departments or business units.

- understand the impact of the culture of target markets on your business as a whole
- identify any gaps in skills and knowledge to ensure that your company can move forward & carry out action planning to determine the direction of each department as well as of the company as a whole
